# VPN Nomad vs Nodex

The clearest difference is ads: Nodex at none against VPN Nomad's shown. VPN Nomad's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.7 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Nomad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Nodex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Nomad ships an update every 6 days, Nodex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
