# Ordle vs Flurdle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flurdle at none against Ordle's 1. Flurdle also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Ordle's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 1) and review sentiment (88% vs 67%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ordle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flurdle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flurdle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ordle has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Ordle's written reviews are positive against 67% of Flurdle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ordle ships an update monthly, Flurdle every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
