# The Lash Hause vs Shelash

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shelash at every 3 days against The Lash Hause's every 5 months. Shelash also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). The Lash Hause's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shelash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Lash Hause has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

The Lash Hause ships an update every 5 months, Shelash every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
