# AwatchApp vs Watch Faces

The clearest difference is update cadence: AwatchApp at every 3 days against Watch Faces's every 2 months. AwatchApp also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AwatchApp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Watch Faces sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AwatchApp ships an update every 3 days, Watch Faces every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
