# Guiding Ring vs Game Progress

The clearest difference is price: Guiding Ring at Free against Game Progress's $0.99. Guiding Ring also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (207 vs 5). Game Progress's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 58%) and chart position (#183 vs unranked). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Guiding Ring is free to download; Game Progress costs $0.99 up front. Guiding Ring sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Game Progress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Guiding Ring against 4.2 for Game Progress. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guiding Ring has 207 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Guiding Ring's written reviews are positive against 100% of Game Progress's.
