# Guiding Ring vs Database for Diablo 4

The clearest difference is monetization model: Database for Diablo 4 at free with in-app purchases against Guiding Ring's subscription. Database for Diablo 4 also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.5). Guiding Ring's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (207 vs 33). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guiding Ring sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Database for Diablo 4 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
