# Prayer List vs scrbl

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: scrbl at none against Prayer List's 1. scrbl also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). Prayer List's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayer List sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. scrbl asks for nothing beyond the download.

Prayer List ships an update fortnightly, scrbl every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
