# WatchNET vs Alta Networks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alta Networks at every 2 weeks against WatchNET's every 51 months. WatchNET's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WatchNET ships an update every 51 months, Alta Networks every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
