# BC Partizan vs BeerCounter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BeerCounter at none against BC Partizan's 1. BeerCounter also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). BC Partizan's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BC Partizan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. BeerCounter asks for nothing beyond the download.

BC Partizan holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BC Partizan has 189 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of BC Partizan's written reviews are positive against 100% of BeerCounter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BC Partizan ships an update every 5 weeks, BeerCounter every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
