# Final Draft Go vs LISZ

The clearest difference is rating: LISZ at 5.0 against Final Draft Go's 4.0. LISZ also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). Final Draft Go's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Final Draft Go sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LISZ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LISZ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Final Draft Go has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Final Draft Go ships an update every 5 weeks, LISZ every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
