# Printer App vs Qr code Reader

The clearest difference is rating: Printer App at 3.9 against Qr code Reader's 2.0. Printer App also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (352 vs 1). Qr code Reader's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (14% vs 4%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Printer App sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Qr code Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Printer App holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Printer App has 352 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Printer App's written reviews are positive against 14% of Qr code Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Printer App ships an update fortnightly, Qr code Reader every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
