# Notes Magic vs Habitus

The clearest difference is ads: Habitus at none against Notes Magic's shown. Notes Magic's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 25 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes Magic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Habitus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes Magic ships an update monthly, Habitus every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
