# Auer Jot vs Notelit

The clearest difference is rating: Notelit at 5.0 against Auer Jot's 4.3. Notelit also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). Auer Jot's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notelit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Auer Jot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notelit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auer Jot has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
