# LSSI vs EdrawMax

The clearest difference is rating: LSSI at 5.0 against EdrawMax's 3.4. LSSI also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). EdrawMax's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LSSI sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and EdrawMax sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LSSI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EdrawMax has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LSSI ships an update fortnightly, EdrawMax every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
