# Wizened Finger vs Game Progress

The clearest difference is price: Wizened Finger at Free against Game Progress's $0.99. Wizened Finger also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 7 months). Game Progress's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and chart position (#183 vs unranked). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Wizened Finger is free to download; Game Progress costs $0.99 up front. Game Progress sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wizened Finger asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wizened Finger holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wizened Finger has 302 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Wizened Finger's written reviews are positive against 100% of Game Progress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wizened Finger ships an update every 2 days, Game Progress every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
