# NuSource vs Thrifted

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thrifted at 100% against NuSource's 56%. Thrifted also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). NuSource's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (205 vs 6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuSource holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NuSource has 205 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of NuSource's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thrifted's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NuSource ships an update every 3 weeks, Thrifted weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
