# Loper vs Wick

The clearest difference is rating: Loper at 4.8 against Wick's 4.2. Loper also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Wick's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Loper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Loper holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loper has 3.4K ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Loper's written reviews are positive against 63% of Wick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Loper ships an update every 3 weeks, Wick every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
