# Mobooks vs Elaris

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mobooks at 85% against Elaris's 10%. Mobooks also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (6K vs 19). Elaris's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobooks sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Elaris sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.90 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mobooks holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobooks has 6K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Mobooks's written reviews are positive against 10% of Elaris's.

Mobooks ships an update every 9 months, Elaris fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
