# WatchMaster vs BBQEwatch

The clearest difference is rating: BBQEwatch at 4.6 against WatchMaster's 4.2. BBQEwatch also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 17). WatchMaster's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchMaster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BBQEwatch sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BBQEwatch holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 66 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of WatchMaster's written reviews are positive against 49% of BBQEwatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WatchMaster ships an update every 2 weeks, BBQEwatch every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
