# BroadLink Magic Home vs JAIOT

The clearest difference is rating: BroadLink Magic Home at 2.0 against JAIOT's 1.0. BroadLink Magic Home also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 1). JAIOT's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 13%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BroadLink Magic Home holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BroadLink Magic Home has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of BroadLink Magic Home's written reviews are positive against 50% of JAIOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BroadLink Magic Home ships an update every 3 weeks, JAIOT every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
