# O2 Academy Venues vs Edfringe

The clearest difference is rating: O2 Academy Venues at 3.1 against Edfringe's 1.9. Edfringe's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

O2 Academy Venues holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of O2 Academy Venues's written reviews are positive against 10% of Edfringe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

O2 Academy Venues ships an update every 2 months, Edfringe every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
