# Field vs SpotFirst

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpotFirst at every 6 days against Field's every 3 months. Field's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Field ships an update every 3 months, SpotFirst every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
