# SHASHA vs ChaChat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ChaChat at none against SHASHA's 32. SHASHA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (20K vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHASHA sells 31 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. ChaChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for SHASHA against 4.6 for ChaChat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHASHA has 20K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
