# dimsa vs ZERO Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: dimsa at 5.0 against ZERO Messenger's 4.7. dimsa also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.5). ZERO Messenger's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

dimsa holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZERO Messenger has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

dimsa ships an update fortnightly, ZERO Messenger weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
