# Animath vs Math

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Math at none against Animath's 6. Math also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Animath's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (221 vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Math asks for nothing beyond the download.

Animath holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Animath has 221 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Animath's written reviews are positive against 100% of Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Animath ships an update every 4 days, Math fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
