# De Babel vs Princess Pita

The clearest difference is update cadence: Princess Pita at every 10 months against De Babel's every 27 months. Princess Pita also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (99 vs 19). De Babel's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

De Babel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Princess Pita has 99 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.
