# FlipClock vs Super Flip Clock

The clearest difference is rating: FlipClock at 4.6 against Super Flip Clock's 4.0. FlipClock also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). Super Flip Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Super Flip Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipClock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlipClock has 39 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FlipClock ships an update every 2 months, Super Flip Clock every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
