# YouFs vs Speedometer GPS

The clearest difference is rating: Speedometer GPS at 4.6 against YouFs's 3.4. Speedometer GPS also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (8.9K vs 121). YouFs's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer GPS sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. YouFs asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speedometer GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer GPS has 8.9K ratings behind it against 121, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of YouFs's written reviews are positive against 33% of Speedometer GPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouFs ships an update every 14 months, Speedometer GPS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
