# Bitcamp vs Massive

Bitcamp and Massive both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bitcamp's written reviews are positive against 30% of Massive's. Bitcamp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Massive's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 9). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Massive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Bitcamp asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Bitcamp against 4.7 for Massive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Massive has 1.3K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Bitcamp's written reviews are positive against 30% of Massive's.

Bitcamp ships an update every 12 months, Massive fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
