# Bitcamp vs Latent

The clearest difference is update cadence: Latent at every 3 days against Bitcamp's every 12 months. Latent also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (208 vs 9). Bitcamp's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Latent holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Latent has 208 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Bitcamp's written reviews are positive against 91% of Latent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bitcamp ships an update every 12 months, Latent every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
