# PierVantage vs Mumble Note

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PierVantage at none against Mumble Note's 4. PierVantage also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Mumble Note's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (50 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mumble Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. PierVantage asks for nothing beyond the download.

PierVantage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mumble Note has 50 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
