# SkillUp vs Curiosity

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Curiosity at 172 against SkillUp's 1. SkillUp's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillUp sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Curiosity sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillUp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Curiosity has 172 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SkillUp ships an update every 3 weeks, Curiosity every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
