# 7Charge vs TadExpress

The clearest difference is monetization model: 7Charge at free against TadExpress's subscription. 7Charge also leads on ratings volume (374 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). TadExpress's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TadExpress holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7Charge has 374 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

7Charge ships an update every 5 months, TadExpress every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
