# SpyTracker vs Hidden Camera

The clearest difference is ads: SpyTracker at none against Hidden Camera's shown. SpyTracker also leads on ratings volume (808 vs 81). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpyTracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Hidden Camera sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for SpyTracker against 4.6 for Hidden Camera. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpyTracker has 808 ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SpyTracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Hidden Camera fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
