# Egern vs ESTKme

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ESTKme at none against Egern's 1. ESTKme also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 57%). Egern's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (84 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egern sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ESTKme asks for nothing beyond the download.

Egern holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egern has 84 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Egern's written reviews are positive against 67% of ESTKme's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Egern ships an update every 2 weeks, ESTKme monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
