# ColorStream+ vs Brizlabs Life

The clearest difference is rating: ColorStream+ at 3.0 against Brizlabs Life's 1.9. ColorStream+ also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 57) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 14 months). Brizlabs Life's advantage is review sentiment (17% vs 5%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ColorStream+ holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ColorStream+ has 2K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of ColorStream+'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Brizlabs Life's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ColorStream+ ships an update every 5 months, Brizlabs Life every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
