# Dillyhub vs TVTropes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dillyhub at 100% against TVTropes's 46%. Dillyhub also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). TVTropes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TVTropes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Dillyhub asks for nothing beyond the download.

TVTropes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVTropes has 379 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Dillyhub's written reviews are positive against 46% of TVTropes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dillyhub ships an update every 3 months, TVTropes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
