# EZText vs PrintFriendly

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrintFriendly at every 5 days against EZText's every 6 weeks. PrintFriendly also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and device support (4 vs 2). EZText's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PrintFriendly holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of EZText's written reviews are positive against 75% of PrintFriendly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EZText ships an update every 6 weeks, PrintFriendly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
