BioSeal Reader reads and verifies Visible Digital Seals (VDS) and 2D-Doc codes. Scan the code on a document or product: the app checks its signature, issuer and revocation, then shows the certified data. The app reads 2D codes (DataMatrix, QR Code and PDF417) compliant with ISO 22376, the Otentik trust network extensions and the BioSeal extensions. It also reads 2D-Doc, the previous generation of VDS. Any change to the data breaks the electronic signature: BioSeal Reader detects it, confirms the authenticity of the data and the legitimacy of the issuer, and shows the information in one of the languages defined by the use case. Holder verification: when the seal carries a biometric reference, the app compares the holder's face or fingerprints with it, after the holder's consent. The comparison runs on the phone; no biometric data is sent. Reading seals is free; biometric verification requires an id3 licence. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
