# Trident Mindset vs Cali K9

The clearest difference is rating: Trident Mindset at 4.8 against Cali K9's 4.4. Trident Mindset also leads on ratings volume (739 vs 7). Cali K9's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trident Mindset sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cali K9 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trident Mindset holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trident Mindset has 739 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Trident Mindset's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cali K9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trident Mindset ships an update fortnightly, Cali K9 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
