# Trident Mindset vs Fathom

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trident Mindset at free with in-app purchases against Fathom's subscription. Trident Mindset also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trident Mindset sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Fathom sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Trident Mindset against 4.8 for Fathom. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 750 and 503 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Trident Mindset's written reviews are positive against 69% of Fathom's.
