# Krosmoz vs Ocrapp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ocrapp at 100% against Krosmoz's 37%. Ocrapp also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Krosmoz's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Krosmoz sells 34 one-off in-app purchases and Ocrapp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ocrapp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Krosmoz has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of Krosmoz's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ocrapp's.

Krosmoz ships an update every 3 weeks, Ocrapp every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
