# FE Connect vs Emergency Binder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emergency Binder at every 3 weeks against FE Connect's every 2 months. Emergency Binder also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FE Connect ships an update every 2 months, Emergency Binder every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
