# FutureLink vs Resource Catalog

The clearest difference is rating: Resource Catalog at 5.0 against FutureLink's 3.1. Resource Catalog also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). FutureLink's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Resource Catalog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FutureLink has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FutureLink ships an update every 4 months, Resource Catalog fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
