# Onlynovel vs SheNovel

Onlynovel and SheNovel both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of Onlynovel's written reviews are positive against 50% of SheNovel's. SheNovel's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onlynovel sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and SheNovel sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Onlynovel against 4.4 for SheNovel. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 7 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Onlynovel's written reviews are positive against 50% of SheNovel's.

Onlynovel ships an update every 4 months, SheNovel every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
