# DrawnTogether vs Brushes for Procreate Art

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DrawnTogether at 82% against Brushes for Procreate Art's 28%. Brushes for Procreate Art's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.1 vs 3.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrawnTogether sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Brushes for Procreate Art sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brushes for Procreate Art holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushes for Procreate Art has 775 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of DrawnTogether's written reviews are positive against 28% of Brushes for Procreate Art's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DrawnTogether ships an update every 5 months, Brushes for Procreate Art every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
