# OpenSwim vs GF Training

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenSwim at fortnightly against GF Training's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenSwim sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and GF Training sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenSwim ships an update fortnightly, GF Training monthly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
