# Shippex vs Dr

The clearest difference is rating: Dr at 5.0 against Shippex's 3.2. Dr also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Shippex's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shippex has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shippex ships an update every 3 months, Dr every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
