# FlashCat Speed vs Lock Screen 27

The clearest difference is ads: FlashCat Speed at none against Lock Screen 27's shown. FlashCat Speed also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Lock Screen 27's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 46%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashCat Speed sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Lock Screen 27 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlashCat Speed holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.2K and 7.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of FlashCat Speed's written reviews are positive against 71% of Lock Screen 27's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlashCat Speed ships an update monthly, Lock Screen 27 fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
