# MyNOVEC vs Clothesline QuickView

The clearest difference is rating: Clothesline QuickView at 3.4 against MyNOVEC's 2.3. Clothesline QuickView also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). MyNOVEC's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (51 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clothesline QuickView holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyNOVEC has 51 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of MyNOVEC's written reviews are positive against 0% of Clothesline QuickView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyNOVEC ships an update every 2 months, Clothesline QuickView every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
